Skin Care in the Fall
Want to keep your skin looking fabulous this fall? We believe you do and you will find lots of great tips and tricks to help your skin glow this fall season. If you are interested in looking great as the leaves start to fall and the temperature starts to fall then read on! We have packed this page to the brim with awesome tips to keep you looking radiant even as the cold weather starts to roll in. There isn't just one solution to having incredible looking skin but some are more important than others. We truly believe that to have healthy skin takes work - just like getting in shape takes lots of work. You have to have a routine that you follow and in our opinion that routine should include great products. Check out these 6 tips.

6 Tips for Healthy Skin this Fall Season

Shower Gel
It is common for the shower gel you use to dry out your skin as things start to get a little bit colder. When you are looking for a shower gel, make sure that you choose one that is soap free. If it says that it can hydrate your skin, then that is going to be even better for you! The same ‘tip’ applies to your facial cleanser. Soap free and hydrating all the way here!

Oil Based Scrubs
Normally, oil based scrubs are not recommended. They make your skin…oily. However, during the colder months they are perfect. Not only will you be able to exfoliate your skin, but the oils will keep your skin nice and hydrated. Remember; your skin is going to dry out rapidly during the colder months so keeping your skin hydrated is important! If you go with a mineral base just be sure to use skin care products that prevent your skin from drying out such as the Luminesce skin care line. 

Moisturize
Once again onto the skin drying out during the fall season. Your skin is going to be dry almost constantly as the weather changes. You need to ensure that you moisturize every single day to keep your skin looking young and healthy. As soon as you hop out of the shower; moisturize right after. This helps to lock in all that moisture and will keep your skin looking radiant.

Sunscreen
Yes, we know that it is cold outside. However, that does not stop the sun pumping out those awful UV rays. You need to provide protection for your skin. We recommend that you put on some sunscreen every single day. You do not anything too strong here. SPF 15 is going to be more than enough. Make sure that you stick it on all exposed areas of your skin. Make sure that you keep this routine long after the end of fall. Even in the winter months, stick sunscreen on. You are going to look much better as a result!

Hand Cream
A lot of what we have talked about on this page has been devoted to ensuring that you can keep your face looking radiant. Let’s focus on your hands. Your hands tend to dry out faster than everything else. We recommend that you get your hands on a decent hand cream and keep it on you always. Make sure that this is oil based too! Whenever you wash your hands, apply a dash of hand cream. It will keep them feeling silky smooth.

Feet
Finally; let’s talk about the skin on your feet. During the colder months, you really are not going to care how your feet look. They are tucked away quite nicely in some rather large boots. However, still pay attention to them. Regularly exfoliate them and apply a dash of moisturizer daily. This will ensure that once the summer months start to roll around again, you have little work to do when it comes to getting them looking awesome!

As the cold starts to set in, it becomes less and less tempting to go out there and try to get fit. Thankfully, you have us! There is so much to do in the Fall that will allow you to enjoy this season in a healthy way. We encourage you to get out and check out all the colors and beauty that comes with this incredible season. Don't just lock yourself up inside the home getting ready for winter - enjoy the outdoors. Here are a few awesome healthy activities you can engage in this fall!

6 Ways to Stay Active & Healthy this Fall

Hiking and Cycling
One of the things that we love about fall is that the colors are awesome. Go for a walk. Take in the beautiful colors of the trees as they turn from bright green to various hues of orange and red. If you don’t fancy hiking, then take a bike instead. Obviously, you are going to want to ensure that you wrap up warm at the same time! Gets less exciting if you do not. Many people prefer the cycling during the fall months as it helps you to feel a bit warmer quicker.

Make Seasonal Dishes
Some gorgeous vegetables, including pumpkin, are going to pop up in the fall. This means you can start to put together some fantastic dishes. You will be learning how to cook, and at the end of it, you are going to end up with a dish that is incredibly low in calories. How great is that? We recommend that you put together a good pumpkin or squash soup!

Rake Leaves
We know that raking leaves does not sound like the most exciting thing in the world, but it is! It is very therapeutic, and you will be burning some calories at the same time. Double the amount of healthy here! You are going to have many leaves falling in your garden during the fall months, so you have no excuse not to be outside.

Horseback Riding
If you have never been horseback riding before, then there is no better time to start than the fall! This is an incredibly relaxing activity where you will be able to enjoy the gorgeous scenery. Why is it healthy? Well, you will be boosting the strength of your leg muscles at the same time. On average, you will be burning around 400 calories per hour with just a light amount of horseback riding. It won’t even feel like you are doing that!

Apple Picking
Apples are ready for picking when fall rolls around. If you live in an area with plenty of apples, then go and pick them! Double benefits for this one too. Not only are you going to be burning calories as you pick bushel after bushel of Apple, but you will also have some fantastic fruits to include in your fall dishes.

Join a Gym Class
Many gyms have worked out that most people start to head to them during the colder months. As a result, you will find that plenty of gym classes for beginners start to pop up around this time. Why not head to one or two of them? You will not only be getting healthy, but you will also be making a ton of new friends at the same time! Make sure that you stick to the gym class for those continued benefits.
